Een twintigtal meren is groot \u2013 meer dan 20 km\u00b2 \u2013 en deze vormen uitgebreide en interessante waterroutes, die zich tot in elke uithoek van het district uitstrekken. Bij de grote meren wacht de visser een rijkdom aan vissoorten en een veelzijdige natuur. De kleur van het water varieert van helder in de oostelijk gelegen meren tot leemachtig troebel in het zuiden en bruinachtig in het noorden en westen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ten behoeve van het sleepvissen zijn voor de grote meren vispas gebieden gecre\u00eberd met een gemeenschappelijke vergunning, waar met meerdere hengels mag worden gevist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vissen in de archipel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De meren in de regio Tampere bevatten duizenden eilanden. Tijdens een vistocht kan men op een mooi eiland aanleggen om het lunchpakket op te eten en rond te kijken en te luisteren naar de geluiden van de natuur. De eilanden en hun omgeving zijn goede visstekken en ze brengen afwisseling in het landschap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grote
